Features

Another common style in Omaha, Craftsman homes generally have low-pitched roofs with wide overhang and exposed rafters. Most examples have decorative brackets under gables. When a porch is present, it is supported by tapered square columns (often what you think of when you hear bungalow). Columns are a prominent feature when present, and the primary distinction from other styles is that they are square and wide, or at least they are mounted on a pier which is square and wide.
