Usually Queen Anne houses have a front-facing gable, and often with an asymmetrical facade. Most often when one thinks of Victorian houses, they are picturing a Queen Anne. The houses also commonly have a large porch, often a wraparound. Queen Anne houses have a wide variety of subtypes based on which decorative components were used in the extensive exterior detailing.
