Art Moderne - Old Omaha

An often underrated style, Art Modern homes have flat roofs, usually a lip at the top of the roof, and smooth, often curving, walls (usually stucco). These are very simple, with a horizontal emphasis. Because the style is simple and often was used in public buildings during the period, some argue the homes feel institutional. However this is a unique style and can be quite charming.
