Most people using this term are referring to a small-sized example of Tudor Revival, Folk Victorian, or even Modern Traditional. We typically will call something a Cottage Style home if it is a single-story home that is not too large and has elements of a style mentioned (like a Tudor Cottage). Often these will have hardwood floors and a fireplace.
